WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

A playwriting workshop from TIFE Theatre is all about empowering student creativity while giving students concrete tools of the craft to help them find and develop their own voice.

Whether you have students preparing to enter a Playwriting IE at their state conference, planning a playwriting unit for your classroom, or offering students the opportunity to produce student-written work, TIFE Theatre offers a range of playwriting workshops. This list includes:

1. Generating original ideas / synthesizing group concepts

2. Leveraging story structure and character motivation

3. Finding each character's voice

4. Creating dynamic conflict

5. Rewriting in search of the final draft

All playwriting workshops are available IN PERSON and VIRTUALLY.
