WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

TIFE Theatre has teamed up with teaching artist and Broadway-insider Sammy Meneses to create a powerful new monologue workshop!

Sammy's privately-coached students have already gone on to attend institutions like Juilliard, NYU, USC, RADA, Pace U. and beyond. 

TIFE Theatre monologue approach combines script analysis, anchored in Jason's background as a working playwright, and Sammy's Broadway-caliber attention detail, technique and craft. 

First, students will work with Mr. Lemire to learn how to identify the "heart" of their monologue, the motivational driving force that will anchor and ground their performance. 

Then, Mr. Meneses will empower students to focus on technical accuracy, effectiveness of emotion, consistency and sustainability. 

The ultimate goal is to prepare in such a way that every student can trust themselves to deliver. This enables students to manage pre-audition anxiety and present their strongest possible work. 

This workshop is available both IN PERSON and VIRTUALLY.
